When I searched google for “how to flip websites ” I didn’t find any valueable content at ALL, besides maybe a udemy course that costs $400 to join… so save your money, the big bucks blogger got your back !

What is Website Flipping ?
Website flipping is the art of buying and selling websites online.
Pretty similar process to house flipping, when you buy a website, add value to it, and sell this website for a higher price.
You can make money flipping websites WITHOUT adding any value to the website as well, you’ll just need to find an website that is under-estimated price-wise, and sell it for a higher price ( again, it’s like buying a house for a cheap price, then reselling it for the real market value).
In this post I will focus on buying a website, adding value to it, and reselling it.
Simply because I would like to teach you a skill, and not a “get rich quick scheme”.
Now that you know what website flipping is all about, lets get down to bid’niz !
The Website Flipping Process : The Two Methods I Use
There are two methods I use when it comes to website flipping.
Obviously there are hundreds of ways to make money buying and selling websites, but I will focus on these two methods ,and so should you, in fact, I recommend you choose one of the methods, and stick with it.
The ” Zero To 60 ” Method -
In this method you start at zero : you buy a domain name, build a website, add valuable content to it, do some SEO, and sell it for a profit.
This method takes longer than the “shape it up ” method, but can also make you MASSIVE profits.
* Pro Tip : Before you begin building your website, you will need to think about how this website is going to make money.
Thinking about the monetization part will help you build a valuable website that will be easy to sell, because you can tell your buyer exactly how he will make money with it.
Lets discuss the steps of this method in depth.
Step 1 : Buy an expired domain name -
You can either buy a new domain name ( in case you have an idea related to the site you will built) or look for expired domains with good SEO on them, Preferably PA, DA : 20 at least. [ read the “ how to flip domain names ” post to get a better idea about valuable domain names].
I recommend finding a good expired domain, then building a website related to the domain name.
For instance, if you find a valuable domain name like : SkinCareTips.com, you can build a skin-care related blog with articles on it then sell it for a good profit.
Step 2: build the website
I use wordpress simply because its the best system out-there to build websites.
It’s easy to setup ( a few clicks) and also very easy to do SEO with, there are plugins, like Yoast-seo plugin that do pretty much all the on-site seo for you !
After you build the website, you will need to add some good content.
Step 3: add content to your new website
Like the old saying ” content is king “, well, when trying to sell your website, the content will be one of the main things the buyer will look at.
You want to have some high quality content on your website, you will want to include well written articles, videos,and images, related to your niche.
I already gave the example of a skin-care blog, so for that kind of site I would recommend writing how-to articles, and even add videos that teaches your readers about skin-care ( like how to apply creams the right way or whatever… i’m not a skin-care genius, lol).
Step 4: sell your website and make money.
There are so many places and ways to sell your newly-built website.
I recommend flippa.com, simply because they have a ton of buyers for you, and are currently the number #1 to sell websites online.
If you did a good job in the previous steps, you will sell your websites in no-time.
Now I know everyone likes ‘easy’ and ‘fast’ money.
So I want to discuss another method I used, which is called ” the shape it up ” method.
Method #2 : The “Shape it up” Method
That method is quicker than the “0 to 60” but it is also trickier.
You will need to know what you’re doing.
You can make or lose money fast with this one, so be careful.
The core of the method is this : you buy a website, add some value, and flip it.
Fast, easy, and efficient.
The thing is this : most people fail when it comes to adding value.
I already talked about adding value, but I want to add something : value doesn’t have to mean “adding content”.
You can build more backlinks for the website, or tweak the on-page SEO, or get more traffic to the website…
All of these things are considered as added value.

The 1st is the “zero to 60″ method, which basically mean you build a whole website from the ground up, make it super-awesome, and sell it to a buyer for a profit.
The 2nd one is quicker, and a little bit more tricky, and I call it ” the shape it up ” method, because you basically take a website, shape it up and tweak it, add value to it, and then sell it. You don’t have to build it from zero.
Whichever method you choose, remember the number 1 rule to make money online : be consistent and stick to the plan!
Flipping website isn’t easy like it sounds, sometimes it takes months to find the right buyer, or website to flip.
