Auction Ads: Great at true niche blogs!
About a month ago, I added Auction Ads to the sidebar of my knitting blog. Since that time, I have averaged $21 a week running ads for knitting related items without affecting my adsense revenue noticeably.
Obviously, I’m going to try this program here. Though, I must say, I doubt they will earn me as much. After all, I about 700-800 unique visitors to the knitting blog, and only 10-30 here (after all, this blog is only two months old!)
To show you how these look, I inserted Auctions ads here:
To create the ad, the blogger specifies key words. Auction Ads searches ebay for those words and delivers some ads.
Sort of. Evidently, for some reason Auction Ads needs to “learn” something or other and find the best ads. As I write this I see that search terms like “seo; traffic; google” etc. are showing sunglasses. Go figure.
Still, based on performance at my knitting blog, I assume this will sort itself out. I guess, as with everything, we will watch and see.
Now, I bet you are now asking yourself this: Can I make money by clicking on her Affiliate logo banner?
It turns out you can. If you join their program, you are automatically enrolled in their affilliate program. If a user clicks on the “Ads by AuctionAds” that is displayed and signs up for our service the referring blogger earns a bonus 2% of all revenue generated by that user for the 6 months. They feature a 30 day cookie on all referrals, so you’re likely to do well.
So, if you click on “Ads by AuctionAds” and join and manage to sell stuff, I’ll make some money.
How will you get paid? They deposit your earning in your PayPal account the first of every month via Paypal.
I hav never seen auction ads perform well, except in a few cases. good luck with ti anyway..
