From time to time, racists decide to google-bomb the word “Jew” or “Jewish” to make Google Searches point to hateful results. Google often detects Googlebombs after they occur. In those cases, they post pages like this: Explanation of 2007 “Jew” Google bomb, copyright 2007.
In the meantime:
- I noticed someone left a comment with the name “jew” pointing to the url for Google’s explanation page on my knitting blog. I’m sure the goal is to boost the rank of that page. I approve of this, and I will be dofollowing this.
- I suggest everyone watch for any “jew” names with urls, check the link and make sure it’s not a hate site.
If I get any comments with urls pointing to hate sites of any kind, I will be sending them to Akismet.

So upsetting. I am sickened thinking that I might find comments on my blog that would be pointing to anything as hateful and mean as this. Thank you for letting us know to look out for it. And, suggesting as to what we should do about it.

I simply don’t understand hate on that scale. I’m physically and mental exhausted from simply expirencing a mild and generic loathing of my local council (as a whole only, some of the members are “ok”) whom not a single sane soul even vaguely likes.

I’ve never heard of this either, but I guess it explains why I’ve seen “jew” as commenters’ names so much lately. I’ll have to keep track of that one.

The need of the hour is a Gentile Search Engine. Let the jews use their search engine and we will use ours.
